Your holiday or mini-break may start with a stay in one of our cottages, but there is so much to do be it walking, fishing, cycling, nature or bird watching - and almost all of it right here on your doorstep.

When you stay in one of our cottages you are have the opportunity to walk 1.8 miles along the stunning River Eden on undisturbed, private land. There is an abundance of wildlife, birds and nature to be discovered.

This walk is bookended by public footpaths, enabling you to walk further to Lazonby on one end and Great Salkeld on the other.
